Honouring the Past, Crafting the Future
Our Story
Land of Tomorrow began with the Nolan family’s estate vineyard in Wrattonbully, where sustainability and stewardship have been central to their legacy for over a century. Originally focused on single vineyards, the story has since expanded.
Today, Land of Tomorrow reflects the collective contributions of multi-generational growers working alongside Winegrapes Australia across regions like the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, and Barossa. While the Wrattonbully vineyard remains the heart of our story, we now collaborate with growers across South Australia who share our vision of crafting wines with integrity and care.
By honouring tradition and embracing innovation, we continue to inspire conscious consumers with wines that celebrate the land, its people, and a sustainable tomorrow.

Susie Harris
Viticulturalist
Steeped in a legacy of stewardship, Susie combines decades of family tradition with modern viticultural practices.
Susie Harris’s story is deeply rooted in the land and legacy of Land of Tomorrow’s estate vineyard in Wrattonbully. Her family’s connection to the region began a century ago when her great-grandparents settled near Naracoorte. Decades later, in the 1990s, Susie’s parents planted vineyards after careful research revealed the land’s potential for exceptional viticulture.
Susie’s early years were spent away from the vineyard, pursuing university studies and a career abroad. In London, her love of the natural world led her to floristry and later to Mauritius and the Maldives, where she established orchid nurseries for luxury resorts. Despite her travels, her family’s vines always called her home.
Returning to Wrattonbully, Susie worked alongside her father, whose 70 years of farming experience became her most valuable apprenticeship. Over the past decade, Susie has deepened her knowledge of viticulture, developing a profound respect for the land and its vines.
For Susie, being today’s custodian of the vineyard is an opportunity to craft wines that capture the site’s story and reflect the health of the land. The vitality of the vineyard brings her the greatest joy, honouring not only her family’s connection but also the Traditional Owners and all who have cared for this place before, and all who will do so in the future. When the land thrives, exceptional wine quality naturally follows.
